A massive police deployment of hundreds of riot police agents impeded the march called by the independentist Candidatura d'Unitat Popular (CUP) to the see of the ruling party Convergencia Democratica de Catalunya (CDC, conservatives) under the slogan: Against the dictatorship of the euro: popular sovereignty.
Police charged brutally against any attempt to do the march. They call it "democracy"...
